THE SHOOT:

MEXICO CITY

Gaucho - Buenos Aires
Finding New Ways to Connect

The Debut of a three-part series with Influencers @JuanFaratro & @Yana_Loboa, who guide us around the exquisite backdrop of Mexico City, featuring the latest drops such as our pima-cotton t-shirts (you’ll want to live in), and Gaucho’s urban collection of hats. Photographed by Manuel Zuñiga. Shoot produced on-location by Juan Faratro.

Under the veil of the pandemic, the bustling pace of cities around the world - as well as their international and domestic traffic both in and out - have slowed down to a crawl. For many of us, the need to conduct business as usual has required some serious thinking outside the box. One challenge posed to our creative team: how to direct a photoshoot remotely?

Gaucho – Buenos Aires has answered this by exploring some creative initiatives, such as the launch of our new series Gauchos En Sus Ciudad, in which native gauchos are featured in their current home cities. These emerging influencers from around the world lend their unique voices to all things Gaucho, while helping to articulate our brand values and vision. But there is a catch! While they received support from our core team remotely; the on-location Mexico City production crew consisted entirely of our models and the photographer is behind the camera - and there you have it!

Here we debut the first of a three-part series with Influencers @JuanFaratro & @Yana_Loboa, who guide us around the exquisite backdrop of Mexico City.  Photographed by Manuel Zuñiga. Shoot produced on-location by Juan Faratro.

1. THE GAUCHO SIGNATURE TRACKSUIT

As suited to cozy days as to creating airport looks for the 'gram, our full-zip hoodie won't let you down. It's soft, luxurious and super-durable, thanks to its high-quality cotton embossed with our distinctive Gaucho - Buenos Aires signature print pattern, and its sturdy gunmetal zipper.

2. THE ICONIC MITRE T-SHIRT

For the ultimate in comfort and durability, we looked to Peru to source the high-performance Pima cotton used in the Iconic Mitre tee. Soft cotton's longer fibers make it stronger and softer than ever, and less likely to pill, too. Styled here with the Hand-finished Icon Silk Scarf in Teal, with our Belgrano Gaucho Pattern Track Pants in navy.

3. THE ICONIC HORSESHOE CAP

Last seen as the fastening element for our leather bags and belts, our iconic horseshoe logo has made a smooth transition to understated sportswear, and it’s looking pretty slick with this black-on-black, high-quality embroidered design. The oversized logo is stitched on to a woven cotton canvas base, with a tactile leather strap and horseshoe embossed metal clasp for adjusting the fit. On the back, our Gaucho - Buenos Aires logo adds a subtle flourish.  Pair with the Soler Gaucho Power T-Shirt and the Belgrano Gaucho Pattern Track Pants in black, to complete the look.

4. THE SOLER GAUCHO POWER T-SHIRT

A classic fit in the softest, finest supima cotton. Sometimes simple is best, and Gaucho Power adds just the right note of complimentary cool. Paired here with our Belgrano Gaucho Pattern Track Pants in black.  Juan is sporting the Men's Iconic Mitre T-shirt in Grey and the Belgrano Gaucho Pattern Track Pants in Cream.

5. THE MAISON GAUCHO HAT

This one’s a literal hat tip to the studios where Gaucho - Buenos Aires designs are conceived. The high-quality woven cotton canvas cap ups the ante for logo lovers, with monochrome stitching on both the front and back. The adjustable leather band and horseshoe embossed metal clasp bring longevity and an element of luxury to a minimalist look. The Soler Gaucho Power T-Shirt in black (left) and the Iconic Mitre T-shirt in grey (right), paired with the Belgrano Gaucho Pattern Track Pants.
